NAKARA SOCCER CLUB INC.
INCORPORATED
The club's legal name is Nakara Soccer Club Inc. The club was incorporated in the Northern Territory of Australia in 2001.
The name Nakara originates from the NT's indigenous aboriginal tribes, of the same name, who live around Boucaut Bay, west of the Blyth River in northernArnhem Land, close to Maningrida.

The club currently participates in the FFA Cup competition.

ACCREDITED
In 2014, the club became the first NT based football club to achieve accreditation under the FFA's National Club Accreditation Scheme.
It currently maintains Level 2 accreditation, and is in the process of achieving Level 3 accreditation, the minimum level required for National Premier League qualification.

The club is a founding member of the Norzone Football Competition, administered by Football Federation Northern Territory.
AUSTRALIAN DRUG FOUNDATION
GOOD SPORTS PROGRAM
ACCREDITED
In 2013, the club became the first NT based football club to achieve accreditation under the Australian Drug Foundation's Good Sports program. In 2015 was awarded NT Good Sport Club of the Year. The program focusses on responsible consumption of alcohol and helathy eating promotion using sports clubs as conduits to promote a better culture around alcohol consumption. The club currenlty maintains Level 3 accreditation.

The club is a supporter of the Play by the Rules organisation's codes of behaviour, member protection and anti-discrimination policies, and subscribes to the guidelines promoted by the organisation to ensure every member is treated equally, with dignity and given every opportunity to get involved in playing football.
